Hi, we are Bhavin & Soonruta!

We are International Dance Teachers and performers, here to make you fall in love with Bachata & Salsa.

Where & How We Started

We are originally from India, and now we live in Cologne, Germany. We have been teaching and performing together since 2011. We started learning Salsa in Pune in 2007 and fell in love with Latin music and culture. From there, we went on to explore various other Latin styles and now we specialise in Dominican Bachata and Salsa.

Training

As dancers, we are forever in student mode. Training ourselves and improving every year has been a big part of our dance journey. We have been lucky to have trained under some of the biggest names in the Salsa & Bachata industry and every day, we continue to explore deeper into these styles.

Teaching

Teaching is our passion and we love to share all our knowledge with everyone.
We believe that everybody should have the joy of dancing in their lives and have fun learning it – an attitude we bring with us to every class. We aim to create a happy and comfortable environment for everyone to learn and enjoy dancing. Even after a decade of teaching thousands of students who now dance in different parts of the world, we are still as excited as ever for every class and workshop!
We take pride in having played an important role in popularizing Dominican Bachata in India. One of the highlights of our journey has been training several instructors, who now teach this style all across the country.

If you want to be good at Latin dancing, you should go to Bhavin and Soonruta!
I learned salsa and bachata from them for around 4-5 months. Musicality, how to lead well and follow well, and how to enjoy dancing ! I learned a lot !
If I didn’t move into new place, I would still learn Salsa and Bachata from Bhavin and Soonruta!
